Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Pack Out and Fire Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional pack-out services for items damaged by fire, as well as performing thorough cleaning and restoration of fire-damaged properties. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations to help restore affected properties to their pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform pack-out services for items damaged by fire, including furniture, clothing, electronics, and personal belongings.
Carefully inventory and document all items removed from the property, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation throughout the restoration process.
Transport packed-out items to designated facilities for cleaning, restoration, and storage.
Conduct thorough cleaning and deodorization of fire-damaged properties using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
Remove soot, smoke residue, and other fire-related contaminants from surfaces, walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
Utilize specialized cleaning agents, equipment, and methods to effectively clean and restore a wide range of materials and surfaces.
Work closely with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies and procedures at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in fire damage restoration preferred.
Proven experience in fire pack-out services, fire cleaning, and restoration techniques.
Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and tools used in fire damage restoration, including HEPA vacuums, ozone generators, and thermal foggers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately inventory and document packed-out items.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members.
Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
