Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Pack Out and Fire Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional pack-out services for items damaged by fire, as well as performing thorough cleaning and restoration of fire-damaged properties. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations to help restore affected properties to their pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform pack-out services for items damaged by fire, including furniture, clothing, electronics, and personal belongings.
  • Carefully inventory and document all items removed from the property, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation throughout the restoration process.
  • Transport packed-out items to designated facilities for cleaning, restoration, and storage.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and deodorization of fire-damaged properties using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Remove soot, smoke residue, and other fire-related contaminants from surfaces, walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
  • Utilize specialized cleaning agents, equipment, and methods to effectively clean and restore a wide range of materials and surfaces.
  • Work closely with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies and procedures at all times.
  •  Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in fire damage restoration preferred.
  • Proven experience in fire pack-out services, fire cleaning, and restoration techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and tools used in fire damage restoration, including HEPA vacuums, ozone generators, and thermal foggers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately inventory and document packed-out items.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
